I can't thank the people at this shop enough! Mav and Brett showed up WAY after hours on a Friday evening, to figure out why my truck randomly wouldn't start (as I needed it for work Saturday morning). This was after Mav had been working on my truck for 3 days, fixed a bunch of other issues, and even test drove my truck afterwards with no problems. Mav figured out what was wrong, ran over to after-hours Parts Dept at Peterbilt, and him and Brett got the issue fixed. If you aren't taking your rig to Stroms, you're at the wrong shop.

I’m an owner-operator, and my experience with Stroms Truck Repair has been extremely frustrating and a waste of time and money. I brought my truck in multiple times for an air leak issue. Every time, they told me it was fixed, charged me, and sent me out. As soon as I left, the same air leak was still there and my air pressure kept dropping. I called them right away and had to come back more than once, but nothing changed. It’s clear the problem was never actually fixed. I also went in for a check engine light. They diagnosed it, told me they found the problem, and charged me to repair it. After leaving, the check engine light was still on. When I returned, they said they didn’t know what was going on. As a truck driver, downtime costs money. I paid high prices expecting proper repairs, but instead I lost time, lost money, and my truck still has the same issues. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. If you value your time and your truck, go somewhere else.

Had them replace a fan tensioner & coolant reservoir on a Volvo VNL. They were able to squeeze me in for a last minute roadcall and have my driver up and running in no time! Good communication throughout and knowledgeable mechanic. Paid with EFS.

One of the worst shops i’ve ever been to. Front desk lady pretends to be nice while they gouge you. Her husband is the worst “professional” i’ve ever come across. Very rude and hostile. They tell you a week then once they get your truck they park it out back and let it sit. No sense of urgency. Prior to being bought out a few years ago this was THE spot in Salt Lake.

I went with this shop based on google reviews and it did not disappoint! Had few minor problem including a leaky def filter, that the previous mechanic left loose and a bad o ring on another small def/coolant filter. They got me in promptly and Justin advised me what the problem was and how much I’d be looking at. Was out in couple of hours. Thank you guys! 🙏
